Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the DomainDiction website, browser extension and related services (the “Service”), operated by Vladimir Kim, an individual based in New York, United States (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

The Service evaluates domain names using historical link data and other public records and shows verdicts, donor information and related metrics. Results are estimates based on historical observations. They are not a guarantee of a domain's current links, search performance, value or legal status, and you remain responsible for your purchasing and business decisions.

2. Accounts

You need an account, created with Google sign-in or an email code. You are responsible for activity under your account and must keep your sign-in secure. One person or organisation should not create multiple free accounts.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are described in the refund policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • access the Service by automated means other than the extension (scripts, bots, scraping), or use it to compile, copy or resell our data or build a competing dataset or service;
  • circumvent quotas, rate limits or other technical restrictions, or share an account to do so;
  • interfere with the Service, probe its security, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Quotas and fair-use limits are part of the plan. We may slow down, suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

5. Third-party data

Domain Rating data is provided by Ahrefs and is subject to its licence; it is shown with attribution and only as a reference. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners; we are not affiliated with them.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, data compilations and content belong to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service according to these terms. You may use the results for your own work.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness or availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or decisions made on the basis of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or if we discontinue the Service, with a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees when we discontinue it.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and, for paid users, by email before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. This does not take away mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
